As a fully qualified acupuncturist with a university level qualification in BSc Acupuncture, I conduct a highly professional and completely confidential service. Together, we will have a thorough discussion about why it is you are seeking acupuncture therapy. We will then discuss your treatment options from there.
Following your initial correspondence with me, and depending on whether or not I feel acupuncture is a suitable option for you, we will book you in for your first appointment. This will include an assessment of your condition and a treatment plan.
YOUR INITIAL ACUPUNCTURE ASSESSMENT
When you come to see me for the first time, my aim will be to gain an understanding of what your ailment is so that I decide on the best possible treatment plan for you.
I will ask you a range of questions about the issues you are experiencing, and we’ll discuss your lifestyle and general health. This process will involve asking about your previous medical history, any previous or ongoing health problems, your sleep patterns and your appetite.

Your initial consultation will involve me taking your pulse on both wrists, examining your tongue and conducting palpation. Using traditional Chinese medicine theory, I will consider the right treatment and approach for you and your needs. Once I have decided on how best to treat you, we will discuss your treatment plan and what it will entail.
